Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine if the prevalence of neonatal and maternalinfectious morbidity in patients with preterm premature rupture of membranes (PROM) whoreceived ampicillin prophylaxis for presemptive group B streptococcal colonization is increasedcompared to those who received no prophylaxis.
